Coronavirus is a jagoff, and our editorial team said it first with this cover design from the March 25 issue. Now you can purchase your very own copy of Abbie Adam’s original design with this 8” x 10” full color, 100# gloss print. Hang it in your front window and bring a laugh to your mask wearing neighbors out for a walk, mail it to your favorite ex pat, or give your quarantine office zoom calls a new background.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Abbie Adams is Pittsburgh City Paper’s editorial designer, as well as a freelance designer and artist who enjoys working with a variety of traditional media including print, painting, and visual design. Often working in sets and collections, Abbie creates intricate, hand-drawn images that show her fascination with line, repetition, and grouping similar objects. Always beginning with a sketch, Abbie develops by hand each of her studio’s products, including stationery, prints, custom fine art pieces, and murals. Abbie's love for typography and background in photography also led her to graphic design, which you can find alongside her illustration work weekly in Pittsburgh City Paper, and on a variety of local products, including collaborations with The National Aviary, Wigle Whiskey, Schoolhouse, and more. abbieadamsstudio.com
